Immature Stages of Anthocoridae

Detailed information on immature stages of Anthocoridae is being acquired. However, Clausen (1940) noted that Orius insidiosus Say nymphs consume an average of ca. 33 European red mites daily. Mite eggs are attacked only when young and adults become scarce. Extensive feeding was noted on winter eggs of European red mite during late summer.
